I launched the new North Down Youth Forum on Saturday 7 September 2013 hosting their inaugural meeting at the Town Hall Council Chamber along with Council Chief Executive and Town Clerk Trevor Polley.
I was delighted to launch this new forum and look forward to working with the North Down Youth Forum to hear their views and respond accordingly.
At a time when far too many young people are seeking a future outside Northern Ireland I am keen to hear the views of young people and respond. Establishment of the North Down Youth Forum is therefore another positive development valuing views of everyone, young and old.
